چکیده
Land use efficiency is one of the critical indicators sustainable development. Increasing land can help build a more compact urban form and reduce footprint. Industrial development often considered major driving force expansion change. Both industrial change are constrained facilitated by planning management, constantly shaping spatial trajectory transformation. Taking suburbanization revitalization uses in Shanghai as case study, this research thematical analysis geospatial data detection methods to investigate how evolution structure leads growth, governance reconfigure city through revitalization. This study found that unplanned brought about significant residential commercial expansion. The was able consolidate its adopting designated blocks strategy curb sprawl enhance efficiency. With transformation industry structure, achieved great success transforming underutilized city’s central area consolidating scattered into suburban areas.
